Horsehill Vineyards

In collaboration with a student design team, I developed packaging for a campus-grown wine produced at Cal Poly Pomona. Our goal was to design a professional label that authentically represented both the university and its vineyards. Through multiple rounds of iteration and continuous client feedback, we refined our concept and ultimately presented it in a final pitch. Out of five competing groups, our design was selected as the official Horsehill wine label.

  • Design a wine label for Horsehill, the student-led vineyard at Cal Poly Pomona, that reflects the identity of both CPP and Horsehill. The goal was to create a cohesive and professional design that embodies the vineyard’s story while also developing collateral to bring the overall vision to life.

  • This project gave me my first real world experience bringing a design to life, from concept to production. I gained hands on knowledge of printing processes, client communication, and the importance of organization and leadership when working with a team. I also navigated industry specific requirements such as government regulations, ADA compliance, and other production standards, which taught me how to balance creativity with real-world constraints.
